Adventure

A hen party abroad is itself an adventure. But this is Vegas, so we have to be OTT. If you’re looking for a nice activity you can do in pairs, try a tandem skydive. Or if you want to skip the downtown traffic, hop on a 12-storey-high zipline.

We jest. The best way to drink in your new surroundings is with a champagne-soaked (or maybe just lightly-moistened) helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon. While you’re out in the desert, why not jump in a mini baja (a very open buggy car) and race each other across the sand?

Step on the strip and it’s a buffet of bars. From ultra cool lounges with chandeliers, to ice bars and craft beer pubs, finding a good place to laugh and drink is not an issue on a Las Vegas hen party.

Atomic Liquors is the oldest freestanding bar in Las Vegas and was once a favourite drinking spot of The Rat Pack and Barbra Streisand. Today, it makes spectacular cocktails — partly-inspired by the bomb-testing site it used to look over. For a lively bar with piano-duelling sessions, random singalongs and Happy Hours; there’s no place like Bar at Times Square at New York-New York. A great place to get in the hen party mood before hitting the clubs.
